Sorry to my (lack of) readers.

This blog is going absolutly nowhere.
I've stopped updating daily and my posts are shit.
I'm not one to point fingers, but, I blame it on my current state.
And was is that? you may be asking. Although I doubt it.
I'm basically going through a major identity crisis.
BIG FUCKING DEAL, YOU WUSS. I know.
But, you know, high school isn't fun and having no idea where you're going when everyone around you seems to be on a visible path makes it even worse. I honestly thought that having a blog would somehow lead me to see the path that is meant for me, but it that's not working. I was foolish to think anyone besides my friends who also blog would read this. There is no purpose to it; just a random person talking about an array of things. To me, blogs that have a common theme are much more interesting and this blog has no theme, no structure at all. And frankly, I can't narrow anything down that I have a total passion for. I've been battling with who I want to be for a while now and trying to find my scene is proving to be the toughest experience so far in my life. I feel the need to thrust myself into a category because most of the people I'm constantly surrounded by know exactly where they belong. I've dabbled in many different scenes, but they always lead me to a new, and for the moment, better place. None of them seem to work out and I'm still staring at the ground, looking at a patch of unmarked land with so many possibilities if I just start walking. The problem is, I can't start walking for fear of never stopping and realizing, when it's too late, that I put the wrong foot forward. Now, I may be too young to decide where I want to be, but I'm surrounded by people who are on the right path towards their bright future. I can't even see a step in front of me, because of the darkness that is my future. High school is scaring me since everyone is making it seem like I have to be secure enough with my choices now about classes and such so I can choose the right future. Deciding upon a future in the middle of an identity crisis could lead to my biggest fear: getting stuck in a cubicle and making the show The Office come to life in the form of my poorly chosen job.
So basically, the type up above is fancy talk for this blog is finished.
I just can't update anything interesting with all of this going on in my head.

OH MY.

ARETGYUJIOP.
I've been away, oops.

BUT.
I did see the 2oo4 (I think that's the year) version of Dawn of the Dead AND AND AND
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME AHHHHHHHHH.
Holy crappppppp. Last night, Eyris, Telescreen, He Is Legend, and Between the Buried and Me gathered together at one of my favourite venues to put on one of the most EPIC shows I've been to...ever. This was my 12th show and by far in my top five favourites.
So, first up was Eyris. They were really great, pretty chill and awesome musicians. The bassist had a twelve string bass; like, holy shit that's awesome. Then, Telescreen. They had a massive screen that showed crazy story that was narrated by the music. It was possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. THEN He Is Legend came on. The lead singer was wearing this worn down Micky Mouse shirt and he looked like Jesus. HE WAS SO FUNNY. He danced around and screamed and put on a fantastical show. Lastly, was Between the Buried and Me, and holy shit was that epic. They're so crazy. And to make it even better, they're really great musicians which made the show even more awesome to watch.
So, yeah, no complaints except the BTBAM merch dude sold me a CHILD SMALL. I wear a fucking adult small. LOSER.

ALSO, I saw Dawn of the Dead. Good movie. The gore totally gets a 5/5. It gets sort of cheesy with the random relationships between people who met like four hours ago. I was pleasently suprised; I love the opening scenes, right before the opening credits. It was crazyyyyyy. It had everything a genaric horror movie had (hot girl, black guy, cute dog, the asshole, lovely couple, heartbreak, chainsaws, and a crazy killer baby thing), but it was done really, really well.

WELL, I had a good weekend =D

Lol at the Pope.

YES.
I KNEW IT.
AIDS is getting spread by condoms. That makes so much more sense.
Thank you so much Pope.

Okay, seriously? I know the Pope is obviously against everything to do with premarital sex; but blaming condoms on the AIDS epidemic in Africa is a bit much. I mean how can something that prevents unwanted pregnancies and STDs magically spread through them in Africa. Logical. I saw his quote in the newspaper and seriously thought it was a joke. I would really love to hear what the Pope has to say about this. Does he even have any actual proof besides God not wanting them to have sex before marriage (which is totally all the proof he needs...sigh)?
A fantastic YouTuber, TheAmazingAtheist, has a quite amusing video talking about this same subject. I love that guy. He's hilarious AND logical. Yay.

I watched the Watchmen

I was disapointed.
Immensely.
It was Watchmen watered down and Hollywood. In the graphic novel there's a fantastic artistic feel to everything and the sex isn't very...sexy? I don't know, but the sex scenes in the movie sucked. It was like watching a damn porno. And the comic was nothing like that. And John...they showed his glowing blue dick way more than the book did. They added a lot more blood and shit; of course I don't mind. ARG ITS SO FRUSTRATING!!! The movie had so much potential. The casting...holy shit. Was perfect. Everyone looked like their character in the book. RORSHACH OH MY GOD. He was amazing. I seriously almost started crying when he died D=. The way John acted and sounded was exactly how I imagined. And, not going to lie, Laurie was great and the changes they made to her costume were...awesome. But the plot and everything they took out ruined it. What happened to the newstand guy? I loved him! I'm sure they could've fit that in somehow. Maybe not the whole pirate story thing, but at least the newstand guy! The movie took out everything good about Watchmen (besides the giant blue penis, of course..just kidding). The art and everything in it flowed so perfectly with the text, and that's way too hard to put into a movie.
I AGREE.
WATCHMEN IS THE UNFILMABLE COMIC BOOK.
And they filmed it.
Damn it Hollywood.

This makes me really happy.

This.
Makes me happy.
Because:
I heard about this on the radio, and the radio dude said that the increase of Americans with no religion might be caused by the crazy fucks (like the one in that preacher video I posted a few weeks back). I mean, America won't go into a crazy spiral downwards, more so than it is already, if less and less people believe in an organized religion.
MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE
this means that church and state will become separated even more.
KEEP FIGHTING, HOMOSEXUALS! YOU MIGHT STILL HAVE A CHANCE!
SAME GOES FOR YOU STEM CELLS AND OTHER 'MORAL' ISSUES.

Goodbye brain, thank you exams.

My brain is fried from exams.
But, I've had so much free time!
I'm reading Watchmen. I'm like 1/2 way through and am DETERMINED to finish it before tomorrow night...because I might see it.
Seriously, everyone in the world should read this book. Its crazy.
Other than Watchmen, my current obsession is the album Icky Thump by The White Stripes.
ITS SO FANTASTICALLY GREAT.
=D =D =D
Yeah, I have nothing to blog about because I have no more brain cells.

Ball Joint Dolls

Day late...oops.
But I've decided to do two photo feature posts a week.

TODAY'S IS ON BALL JOINT DOLLS =D

This is one of my dolls. Her name is Adeline. She is about 45 cm tall; this size is the 'mini' size.

This is my other doll, Ayashii. He's a boy. Shut up. He's also a mini. The price range for this size goes from $250-$400.

There are all different sizes. This one is a 'tiny'. These, of course, tend to be cheaper.

The last size is the largest, they're 60-70 cm and the most expensive. This size (large) goes from $500-$800.

Why spend so much money on them? Well, multiple reasons.

Some people want to bring their story characters into three dimensions.

Some people (like me) love how BJDs are so photogenic.

And some people want to brush up on their sewing skills.

BJDs can be customized however you want. You can change their hair, eyes, makeup, gender, clothes, and body parts.

For more info about dolls, DenOfAngels is a GREAT website for all your doll needs.

Consuming >:D

Today, my headphones broke.
My second pair of $30 Skullcandy low riders broke.
I used to have earbuds, but GUESS WHAT, those broke too.
And my first pair of low riders....I stepped on.

Why am I complaining?
Its not because I have no fucking clue what to write about today, but because consumers buy things because they look good. So, Skullcandies are some of the coolest looking headphones around, but when it comes to quality, they're HORRIBLE! One of my teachers said that America is like the 'shiny object' country. We tend to change obsessions quickly and look at whatever is most interesting. Like pop culture. That's why rags like People are getting so much money; people want to hear about Brangelina and Brittany in rehab again. Not only do we love pop culture, we love to buy things. People will go out and buy a $300 iPod Touch and then the 'new and improved' version comes out...uh oh, got to go buy that one too. Its so easy to make tons of money with technology now. Just come up with a new version of your last product. People will buy it. I'm not saying I shy away from these things (although I don't read pop culture magazines), I like to hear about the hilarious photos the paparatzi caught, I also like to know about the latest version of *insert product here*. I don't stay up to date, but every now and then its good to solve my boredom.
Moral of the ranting blog post: don't buy Skullcandies.

DEATHROCK FEATURE TIME.

Since I love art, its only natural that I put some throughout this blog.
So, I've decided every Wednesday is going to be a photo feature day with whatever theme I feel like. So, today...hmm.
I'm thinking some deathrock pictures.
DEATHROCK? WHAT IS THAT? SOUNDS SATANIC.
Hahaha, well along with the pictures I'll give some little tidbits and history on the genre.

The term 'deathrock' (also death punk, but that doesn't sound as scary) started in the 1950's to describe rock and roll music about morbid things. Like the Monster Mash...

No, this isn't a band, but its a great example of deathrock fashion.

You can probably spot a deathrocker from miles away. Leather, fishnets, black, skulls, and massive amounts of hair spray and makeup is hard to miss.

THE MISFITS. They're one of the most influential bands in this genre. EVERY SINGLE PERSON who considers themselves a deathrocker listens to the Misfits. They started the whole shock rock and horror rock starting in the late 70's.

The deathhawk. Its the most common hairstyle among deathrockers. Its like a Mohawk, except thicker and usually buzzed sides and messier hair and its usually worn down.

Deathrock wasn't only influenced by horror and vintage goths, there is also elemnts of caberet, some religious icons, and many books and films.

And we're done =D. More amazing deathrocky-y-ness at deathrock.com

Horror Movies

You know what sucks?
Horror movies these days. The most recent one that I actually liked is Saw Five. I love the saw series o_O. But really, there haven't been any good ones out. My Bloody Valentine, I didn't see just because its in 3D; that kind of ruined it for me. Honestly, I don't want axes coming out at me and 3D is dizzying. The Unborn....WHAT A STUPID IDEA. They pretty much stole every other demon baby movie's idea and just made the kid unborn. The Uninvited I heard was actually pretty good, but I haven't seen it yet. It looks kind of overboard-cheesy.
But all the really good horror movies are old. Killer Klowns from Outer Space, for example. That movie, ahahahahahahaha. Its so bad its hilarious. I love it. Rosemary's Baby; oh MY. That movie is really scary. Its also really fucking racist and sexist. Eh, back in the old days....haha.
That kind of brings me to a new point...GIRLS IN HORROR MOVIES. I don't consider myself a feminist, but sometimes horror movies go to far. Like Hostel. The plot is fantastic, but the movie is ruined by all the naked people fucking. The entire movie is based off of guys who think with their dicks rather than their brain. So many horror movies are geared towards horny guys, its kind of sad. I don't know if I'd consider House of 1000 Corpses going to far, with Baby and all. But she barely wears any cloths the entire movie. At some points its like 'um, okay we get it, you're hot, now go put on cloths'. And there was this other movie I saw on Sci-Fi, but I forgot the name. Tons of naked people (edited out since it was on TV) and a bunch of horny people at a rave. They were on an island and then people attacked....help me with the name '-_-.
But yeah, no matter what, horror will always be my favourite type of movie. Blood, blood, and more blood. Now that's what I'm talking about.

Sorry D=

Okay, so I'm copping out.
I'm so tired.
I have exams soon and track practice all week. And today was really hard.
So I'm just going to put in a short little thing I wrote a few days ago.

Thank You Twilight.

Read this.

Go on.

Finished? There are many things wrong with this link. One: a website dedicated to Twilight hating; holy hell people, get a life. Two: the sad thing is, although this is most likely a fake story, I wouldn't be surprised if there were actually physical fights over Twilight, which is sad
I think a rant is in order. WHAT THE FUCK. Twilight sucks. Actually, end of story. If I needed to actually prove myself, then I'd make people read the damned series.. I don't need to make points that have already been proven, so my post is finished.

Stupid post.

So, I love the website LOOKBOOK.
Just putting that out there.

I don't know what to write about...ahh!

I'm just going to list my favourite movies:
Donnie Darko I think is my ULTIMATE favourite movie ever. Its so original and just...crazy. The plot is great and the romance doesn't kill the entire movie, which happens sometimes.
I also love Eraserhead. That movie...HOLY FUCK. David Lynch is my favourite director, by far. I have yet to actually see any of his other movies, but his shorts are fantastic.
THE. SAW. MOVIES. They aren't overrated, so shut up. The plot is crazy and keeps people (well me at least) interested. And I don't think the blood is 'too much'. THERE IS NO SUCH THING!
Rob Zombie actually did some good movies too; Like House of 1000 Corpses and the sequel to that, Devil's Rejects. House of 1000 is pure insanity and horror; yes please. And Devil's Rejects shows that the characters are actually human and not just crazy killers. Love love love =D. Its also clever how the tables are turned and the police man goes crazy, very clever.
And, getting out of the horror realm, Slumdog Millionaire is...wow, just wow. Visually, its stunning and the past and present flow together perfectly. After seeing it, that movie became one of my top ten favourites.
Other non-horror movies...let's go with some oldies!
Labyrinth, of course. David Bowie...mm mm mm! Hehe.
Corpse Bride is a good movie. I love the visual aspect a bit more than the plot, but I'm still willing to watch that movie over and over again.
Alice in Wonderland. Yes, its ridiculously overrated, but STILL! Its pretty to look at and the plot is...scary to say the least. And I love the music. <3

Oxy Moron blogpost =D

So, to make this boring blog a little less boring (because I love paradoxical things) I'm going to include the following things whenever I update:
A song of the day.
Today's song is Snuff by Slipknot
A photo of the day.
I'm a bitch, so I'm going to do one of my own (but I usually won't do this): Held Down
A drawing of the day (which I'll most likely get from deviantART.com.)
Lolita Trio by Neurmorin
And, a quote of the day.
“This nation has still not come to grips with its racial past,” said by Eric Holder, of course.

So yeah, look forward to that. And I might add more things if I think of them.

Wednesday, February 18, 2009

You cowards!

I happen to love the new attorny general.
THANK YOU FOR REALIZING THE RACE PROBLEM.
Holy fuck people, Obama is not the racism band aid! Seriously? Eric Holder is spot on. America is a nation of pants-wetting cowards when it comes to race and religion and the like. I find it sad that people are like 'yay! black president equals no more racism!' Yeah, um, right. If November fourth ended all racism then there would be no plans to kill the president, no KKK, and certainly no accurate polls that show black people have it harder than white people.
FOR EXAMPLE:
More black people live in the inner city than in the suburbs.
Black people are more effected by the recession.
And there are still close-minded backward folk who think black people are fucking slaves.
YES! RACISM IS OVER. Fuck you guys. "Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and we, I believe continue to be in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards."
Thank. You.
How can people think that the race problem is over when middle-eastern looking people are getting 'random bag checks' in airports. Or when a totally innocent black guy gets pulled over by a police man. Oh, man, how about those stereotypes, too! Okay, yeah, America has taken a huge step forward in this department with Obama and Holder and such; but we're NOT FINISHED. It doesn't take a day, or one person, or even a group of a few people to change the fact that America is still racist.

Well hello there.

I've been planning on doing this for a long time.
This will be my blog that I (hopefully) update daily. It's not really about anything...whatever I feel like writing about I'm going to; I've forgotten my social graces and anything politically correct.
Sorry.
This is a little bit about me, so you can get an idea of my blog:
I enjoy listening to music that others consider noise.
I watch too many horror movies.
I'm a work-in-progress photographer but I love all art.
I like fashion. A lot.
I'm kind of maybe just a little bit controversial.
I'm bored unless there is some type of drama happening in my life.
I don't really care if I offend people.
And I love anything crazy weird.

Woooooooo. Let the blogging begin.
=D
